Optimal tire pressure for Nitto DR's?

I've heard a few ideas that 30 psi was too much and it would bald the middle of the tire. I dropped it down to about 25-26 psi and it seems to grab better. But on the highway sometimes I go a little too fast :p so I don't know if i need more pressure. So basically what is the optimal pressure for street driving and highway speeds.
Thanks

Nitto Drag Radials are a soft tire. Air pressure will make a big difference in both it's performance and wear, much more than with regular tires. I found 18-20psi I good for the street, including highway, and it still wears more in the middle.

I think gt90stang is the only one so far that's put everything need in his post. Your optimum tire pressure is going to vary depending on your rims size, tire size, and weight of the vehicle. I recommend you post those sizes (at least) then check the responses you get. :)

Edit: Ultimately you want the foot print of the tire to be flat to the pavement. A narrow wheel usually requires a little more pressure to make that happen than a wider one with the same size tire on it. Too much pressure and you put the center of the tire to the road and it begins to lift up on the inside and outside edges.
