19# or 24# injectors with my combo?

I'm in the process of buying some used Edelbrock Performer heads at a great price. I already have LT headers, Accufab 70mm TB, and C&L MAF(19#). Should I step up to 24# injectors? None of the items are installed yet and I'm still looking for a used Cobra or GT-40 intake, but I needed to know if I need to be rounding up some 24# injectors and a 24# sampling tube?

Thanks,
RT

Your stock injectors should be fine. I don't see a cam listed anywhere in your setup. At most,(but I doubt it) you may need an adjustable fuel regulator. The folks really familiar with MAF can confirm or deny that, but I don't see anything in your setup that would suggest that the 19lbers couldn't handle it.

IMHO you best off saving your $$ cause your probably get best results upgrading your MAF-injectors-fuel pump, then you can be safe and provide enough fuel without maxing out the system.

RTGreen,

My 90GT 306 NA has performer heads, intake, 70mm tb, 73mm C&L, 24# injectors, Crane 2030 cam, 8.92:1 compression...way more stuff. The bottom line is I hit 85% injector duty cycle so 19# injectors wouldn't work for me.

Good Luck, Don
