i have a 93 4 cylinder and found some V8 red koni front and rear shocks for a good price and am wondering what would need to be changed to get them to fit. he also has some what he believes to be c springs for sale for a good price and i was wondering what would need to be done to fit those also.

ps i posted this in 2.3 also, but it's not getting any views and i figure you guys would probably know as well as they would. thanks.

ah, so basically no quick fix unless i do the whole front brake system and at that point it isnt a quick fix (lol). and im assuming the shocks wont work because of a somewhat similar reason/because i have a 7.5?

The shocks should work. The struts might work if spacers are needed between the spindle and strut where the bolts go through.. Might be able to get some Grade 8 washers to take up the space. On an 88 I had I put a set of Monroe struts on there and if I remember correctly they came with washer like spacer's. But then again those struts probably had more than one application, and not just for mustangs....

The shock mounting point in the rear is different, but it works with a little ingenuity. I put on my Bilsteins last Sunday and had to make a parts run halfway through (with only one stock shock in the car, ass was bouncing all over  ). Basically you'll get a bolt, a washer and a nut, and use it with the new shock to replace the stock Torx bolt, because it won't come out of the stock shock's bottom bushing.

Just upgrade the front brakes and the strut mount won't be an issue anymore. :D
