Hi, I'm looking at putting an order in soon for my Vortech S-Trim SC and a C&L Mass Air intake kit. I have a 2002 GT and the only mod are the Borla Stinger catbacks. About how may HP would I be putting to the wheels after my SC and intake are put in? Also, should I now get a chip and get everything tuned up nice? And, how much does a normal SC install cost? Sorry for all the questions, but any advice would be great!!

Don't do a C&L meter along with the supercharger. It's a waste of money. Spend it on a plenum or power pipe. As far as kits go, I bought mine from modularpowerhouse.com and ran it for a year and a half before swapping over to a Kenne Bell. The kit that they sell consistently gets 350 - 370rwhp depending on exhaust system. You might want to give them a call.

Ahhh good oh SmithAtlanta providing the key information. :nice:

I agree 10000000%. If you are new to this, there is no one else that I would want to buy a kit from then Tim at Modular Powerhouse. If you don't want to have to piece a kit together you can't beat their deal...period. They sell what they call the Mongoose kit which is 100% complete and includes one of Tim's proven tunes. They are consistently getting 350-370 rwhp out of these kits on an otherwise stock car. Go to www.modularpowerhouse.com to learn more about the kits they have available. I'm positive you'd be more than happy with them.

I'd advise you not gettin a C&L MAF kit, it'll be a waste.

Here would be my advice....

Get the Vortech V2-SQ kit from Tim, and get a Lightning MAF. Also, get an upper plenum and TB combo along with a power pipe.

With that and a good dyno tune, you should see 350+ at the rear wheels.
