Pictures of a clay 2005 Roush Mustang

I did a search and didn't see these posted here. I came across them while looking at the Mustang Source threads.

Im sorry, But I can already see that putting any Body kit on the 05 GT's wont look that good. Its kinda like putting a body kit on a 1960 shelby mustang.....just does not go together. Might as well just lower it and be done with it ,and and just focus on under the hood.

damn shame

the GT-R "kit" looked good but it wasnt much of a complete kit. Theres goign to be some cool things to change and some other stuff that just looks stupid.

I honestly think the clay model looks decent but I do think one of the problems is they are trying to make it not look like the concept car which had many cool features imo.

Notice how it is a bunch of old guys working on it??

I think it would be better if they go with the lines of the car instead of going against them. Notice that the lines of the headlights and grill are all slanted like this \ while all the lines of the bumper are slanted the other way, like this /. The car might also look better when it is on the ground and you are viewing it from normal height.

What are you - Designiacs?
There are a lot of influences going on here. The lines are derived from many past models. Give everyone time. It will all shake out and we will have all kind of looks from this new Stang. Remember - Mustang has always belonged to all age groups. That's why it has lasted past everything else. Remember -
It's a MUSTANG.

thats cuz it was based off the concept

It did take some things from the concept like the tail lights and the qtr window covers but the entire side of the car and front bumper is production. In my opinion its a mesh of both. The production 05 is based on the "concept"

I can see it taking shape now. Not as Ricer-looking as the photochop suggested. Still, I think the Eleanor photochop did a much better job of complimenting the Mustang's native lines.

I can certainly see the Roush body kit on the V-6 model... :flag:
