does anyone know what these sound like on the 5.0's because the mufflers i have on my car suck and are not loud enough. in other word does it sound good or crappy? my firend is giving them to me for free and i believe they are 12" long.

With the tailpipes it was very raspy, without the tailpipes it sounded like a school bus It didnt sound like a 5.0 But thats with a stock cam,Ive heard them with a cam,and they sound totally awsome But when doing highway speeds it sounds like a stock car And if your motor is stock, you will lose a little bit of bottom end torque. These motors (when stock) need a certain amount of back pressure!! If its too quiet, look into getting a good cat back exhaust.Bassani,,mac,,Borla,,loud mouth,,Flow master,,magna flow,,,,ect...
Sounds like you have 3 chamber flows. 2 chambered flows are alot louder,,and 1 chambers are insaneSmithCobra95 said:i already have flowmaster cat back and i hate it. its not loud enough thanks for the input on the mufflers

That's my sound clip. Stock headers, O/R H pipe, Ecam, Bullet's with tails.
It's ok, isn't BAD. It's not loud at all until you step on it. 5th gear is perfect, not to loud and doesn't drone. I would go Spintech's next time simply because I would like to try something different.

If Satan drove a Mustang I think it would sound like mine. I've also got 45 more cubes and a bigger cam than most people though. General rule I think is h-pipe, get chambered mufflers, x-pipe, get straight through style mufflers.
