1 legged burnout ... WTF!!!

ok.. one more freaking problem...
So, my buddies just told me that only one of my tires was spining while i did a burn out last week. what the heck is wrong with my rear end? do i need a new trac-loc? if so .. which one should i get 28 or 31? i don't want to modify anythign else.

You dont need a new t-lock. Just rebuild it. Buy the rebuild kit from ford for 50 bux then either rebuild it urself or have somone do it. Its the clutches that wear out, replace them and ur good as gold.

yep rebuild it. its the infamous one wheel wonder. by the way it would be a 28spline if you kept your stock axles. Sounds like a good time to wake up that AOD with some 4.10s

Be careful draining the diff. Well used gear oil has a nasty smell to it. Wouldn't want that on my clothes or anything. Probably going to rebuild mine this weekend if everything goes right.

No doubt, that friction modifier that you put in the rear end smells absolutely disgusting. It takes forever to get the smell off your hands, clothes and tools.
