about a year I think.... seriously I think there was a different computer flash, and some say the cats are a little different.
I think you are correct about the computer flash. I know someone with an 03', and he said if you look on the passanger side door on the inside there is a # there, his was different than mine, he said that was the computer #. He said the 03's were tuned a little more aggressively.

The computers are all the same, it's merely the tune or the "Flash" that's in the EEC and reflected on the door jam. There have been a total of 4 different computer flashes from ford thus far.

1st run '03's came with QUD2
2nd run '03's came with either YDH0 or YDH1
'04's come with AMZ1

Anyone who has an '03 that got the new flash to correct the stalling problem is actually running the newer '04 code (AMZ1).

yea I think its the exact same engine in both cars. :)

Actually, I think they introduced the '97 Cobra engine back into production for 2004. The ligher aluminum block and better looking intake manifold (blowers are ugly) have been favorties with SVT owners. Back by popular demand, the new "old" SVT Cobra is sure to pull some better times.
