help with times

Ok my best time at scribner (a 1/4 mile track) was a 13.7 at 106.5 mph and i see all theese time slip with people running better than with less speed, i think its kind of a bad time i still have the stock rear end but i run a venom vcn 1000 nitrous kit 100 shot , bbk 75 mm tb, bbk intake larger maf, no mufflers and on street tires i cant seem to get better than that i was wondering what could help me. and yes its a 5spd

how the heck do you guys launch i drop mine at 3 grand and feather the gas till i get traction then slam 2nd and so fourth and are my gears way to damn long i mean i should at least be ready for fourth gear shouldn't i

try launching with less revs, and build up the revs as you get better at feathering the clutch. launch at 1500, with a clutch drop, and i bet you will drop the 60' to about 2.1, and that should drop that time by 1/2 a second at least. that would put you at about 13.2. then just raise the revs, and lern to launch it.
