I need some tips on firming up a vert GT. As you know it has alot of cowl shake and thats the main thing I want to fix. It wanders going down the road too even though its been aligned.
Cowl shake can be cured by adding a strut tower brace. You could go one step further and add a lower 4-point G-Load brace. And of course cross braced sub-frame connectors should be manditory.
TAKE OFF THE STOCK SUB FRAME CONNECTORS AND PUT GOOD AFTER MARKET ONES(KENNY BROWN,STEEDA). I HAVE KB'S ON MY 01 VERT AND PUTTING ON A STRUT TOWER BRACE TODAY OR TOMM.

Wandering down a stright road is more likely to do with road itself and the size of your tires or tire pressure. What do you have. As for stiffening the chassis, full length subs first then a brace. My MM subs get welded in this afternoon. Cant wait.

I feel you on that, my custom full-length w/seat brackets are getting welded in right now. I'm excited. As for the original question, the subframe connectors are the best and cheapest thing to do to stiffen up the chassis, next to a rollcage. But those make it a little hard to get in and out of the car. lol
