has anyone put a 32v 4.6 in a fox body

I've been watching this and I've been looking at that link. I'm kicking around an idea, but I can't find any info on the only thing limiting my idea. Exhaust. Do standard 4V headers fit early fox cars if they have a tubular K-member? The only thing I can't find or figure out on my own is the exhaust for a early fox with a 4V.

I think you have to switch K-member with an SN97 for the mod engine to fit... I would guess a tubular K-member for a SN97 would work?

That would be my next project for my LX... Once the turbocharged 393 is done and I'm bored with it in that car I would love to slap that biotch in a '56 F100 and put a mod motor in the fox :D heh if I live long enough to save up for that shtuff

Wiring is a non-issue to me.
Brakes would be manual.
Steering would be manual.
Using the appropriate K-member is a no brainer.
The tranny for my idea is a C4. Easy enough.

The question I have is....can 4V headers bolt onto the engine and clear the firewall and floorpan of a Fox car? If so, my idea will work.

Did the firewall ever get moved forward or backin 1994? And did the floor ever get dropped when the redesign was done in 1994? Both in comparision to 79-93 firewall and floorpan locations.
