I took my 98 cobra to the dyno today and I am very disapointed. The car is bone stock except msd plug wires, k&n, and aftermarket mufflers. my best run was 245@5700rpms and my torque was 254@4000rpms. Should my torque be more on this DOHC motor? Also it was showing my Air/Fuel at about 11.5/1. What can I do about this? One more thing at 3300 rpms when the IIRC's opened it kind of stutered and actually dips in the graph then slowly starts building power. From what I understood when they opened power should start building quickly but mine stayed on the same incline it was at when they were closed.

1st - What kind of dyno was the car on (dynometer or mustang dyno / numbers in STD or SAE)?

2nd - Do you have any pictures of the dyno graph?

When were the sparkplugs and fuel filter last changed? Is the air filter OK or is it very dirty?

The IMRCs might be a part of the problem...they might need some attention, check out the following PDF "how-to:"

The plugs and fuel filter were changed about 9k miles ago and the k@n was cleaned about 5k miles ago. I will see if i can get the graph scanned. And it was on a dynojet with sae correction
