Bullitt wheels on a 92 Coupe??

Got me some Bullitt wheels off a 01-04 GT the other day to put on my 92 Coupe... I am going to buy a 5 lug conversion kit, but I was lookin and wondering if the offset is right.. need help from someone who has done this before to see if it requires some spacers.. HELP!! Also if anyone has some pics handy.. I never do get tired of seeing these wheels on a fox, lol..

If you use the Ford racing/SVO style 5 lug front rotors then the center caps will not fit. If you do a SN95 spindle convertion it works great. On the back either the 5 lug drum or SN95 convertion will work, but I prefer the SN95 if not for the disk brake upgrade alone, the wheels will be out further and looks better IMO.

Try ebay or stangparts.com- or just go to a local junckyard.

I have seen a lot of complete "kits" (used parts) for $400. And have done it for less with junk yard parts that I located myself.

Front spindles are best from 94-95 stangs Gt or V6. best price to value to function for front calipers ar post '01 GT.

Rear brakes can be off any 94-03 Gt or V6, but axles should come from a 94-98 only.

93 cobra master is a good choice, but 94-95 Gt or 94-98 V6 work fine too.

Parking brake cables are best purchased from Summit.

I use the 79-86 Mustang brake bias/prop valve and then re-terminated the third brake line off the stock master cylinder to fit the rear port of the bias valve (same as 2300K kit). Don't forget to get the FRPPsolid plug and gut the valve, also run an adjustable prop valve in the rear line, place it in the line at the junction on the passenger side on the firewall.

Also must modify the parking brake handle.

Search the forums and net for instructions or go to FRPP and print the 2300K kit instructions, they now post them in PDF format on their site!

jd351 your saying that the "axles should come from a 94-98 only" ? I'm curious to know as I own an 88' LX with rear disc brakes and want to convert to 5 lug all around as well... thanks in advance. ProDetroit

i used the SN-95 conversion 95GT spindles, rotors, calipers and then i used FMS 28spline 29 5/32 5lug axles the whole conversion took about 2hrs the back wheels sit in a little so spacers might be an option at a later date but they are fine for now here's some pics first couple is my car then next are some i have accumulated from other sites...

That red Notch with the black bullets is killer. Any of the Notches above are nice. I'm so pumped that I got a notch instead of a hatchback......i did just see some decent prices on Ebay for black bullet replicas if you're willing to have replicas...

You can use standard lincoln rotors which are 5 lug if you are on a tight budget. They clear the center cap just fine if you use a 7/8ths spacer and slightly longer wheel studs. You can have the front done for under $150 using this way. It decreases the chance of inner fender rub also because it moves the rim out some.
