IRS HELP!

I destroyed an entire rearend/driveshaft at Rockingham a month ago. First pass was an 11.2 at 121mph, '04 Cobra. Any ideas how to get H.P. to ground for decent take off/launches? I ahve added 3:73 gears, subframe bushings, IRS Subframe Brackets and had the Kenny Brown hard launch kit and aluminum bushings already and destroyed that too! Has anyone seen the new axle girdle RPM Outlet is going to release? I think a must for all owners. I do not advise using the aluminun no deflection IRS Brace Bushings as I feel was the cause of the major failure.

Unfortunately at you're power level the best thing (and of course most expensive) is to go live.

Get some GKN halfshafts they came stock on the 2000 Cobra R they will take more than 700 Horse plus

I would agree on the live rear axle idea. You're likely to continue to have proiblems with the IRS doing hard launches.

I'd just bite the bullet and swap out for a 8.8 .. or 9.0 rear end [if you're saucy ] and be done with it.
