I recently purchased a Vortech V2-SQ for my 2001 GT. I currently have a mac catted prochamber and flowmaster american thunder exhaust setup. I read on corral.net that they gained 13rwhp by adding the magnaflow exhaust to their stock 99 GT. I had my car dynoed after installing both the h pipe and the catback, and I only gained about 3 rwhp. I haven't installed the supercharger yet, but the tuner that is installing it said I should change my exhaust setup. Do you guys think I should change the catback and the midpipe, or should I leave the setup I have right now? I am currently putting out 241 rwhp. I put in a new cam, which put me from 220 rwhp to 241.7 rwhp with the exhaust work. Thanks for the advice.

With any aftermarket exhaust, you are only going to pick up a few horses. You won't gain 13rwhp by putting magnaflows on. People like to just jack up the numbers. Basically, just choose an exhaust for the sound that you want. So, if I were you, I'd keep the Flows.

I had the same setup last year. I changed my midpipe and Catback to Magnaflow, because I wanted stainless steel. When I went to the dyno I didn't expect any gains but I gained 18rwhp. If you want dynosheets let me know I have before and after.
