Well with the stock lower/heads that is just the way it is...mine seemed to lose a noticeable amount of pull/power when I hit around 5500rpm...you could almost lay on it after you dump the clutch and it acted like its own rev-limiter at 5500rpm in my car...now it keeps pulling after a few additions
You guys that are pulling to 6k rpm, are you doing that on your stock tach? I know when I shift a 6k rpm on my autometer tach, I am over 7k on my stock tach. The stock tach is not accurate. Just something for you guy to think about.
I see, my stock tach sucks, its good down low, but its way off up top. But back to the original post. When I was searching for a new intake, I just started at the search engine on yahoo. I found some really good info on different intakes at the andersonfordmotorsport.com under read media articles. I say the street heat intake will be plenty. The BBK intake is to new to get good info on it, and I say its not starting out to good. But its just my opinion.
