Thinking about doing VT Stage 2 cams in the spring, along w/ 4.10s...what will this do to my gas mileage? It's a DD, so I'd like to keep it as streetable as possible. Thanks!
Seriously though, has anyone done any before/after logging of MPG? I realize that gaining performance almost always means sacrificing efficiency, but I'd like to get a ballpark before I commit to putting cams in...
I just did a rough calculation, i get about 15-18 MPG on average. That is about 50/50 highway/city driving. Click on link in my sig for all the info on my car.
I get around 15-18 like some of you. I just have stock cams though. I do have 4.10's. I noticed I lost about 50 miles per tank with the gear change. Now getting about 175-200 per fill up. I gun it too much, but i just cant help it.

I have 4.10's and get on it often, I rarely see under 18mpg. On tanks with a majority on the highway (never have done an entire tank on the highway), I'll get about 21-22mpg.
The gears and mpg myth is busted. Any decrease is because you can't keep your foot out of it.
mine is extremely bad on gas mileage and mine is basically stock except exhaust and cai...i drive like 50-60 highway miles and it eats up 1 mark on the gas meter from full...
