Well.....let's see here....I had a loan on my Mustang (first of all). Now what is the point of paying on a dead horse?? Next the engine is ****, I ain't about to come up with 6,000 dollars anytime soon and that comes back to point number 1 (why pay on a dead horse?). It's not that I don't like the car, I just don't have TIME or MONEY to be putting into my daily driver. If the engine would have never crapped out, I would still be loving my car.

I'm keeping mine forever, when I die, it will be donated to a charity for an auction.

this is the original ford mustang driven by racecar driver/actor/rockstar Gerard Murphy throughout his life beginning when he was 18, it was also seen in movies like the bloodbane killer, tarmac dreams, and in his music videos. It is also a trophy winning car when he raced amateur GT and American Iron classes in his 20's

This year overall has been pretty bland for the Mustang crowd. I noticed early on less and less involvement from certain people who just quit getting involved all together even before summer was half over.

Last year was pretty eventful, and I was looking forward to this season now that I finally have a v8 with a decent amount of power ... but I didn't exactly show up every weekend to BM and other events like I had previously.

Perhaps it'd be a good time to organize some sort of morale event to get the 'ole crew together before we can't even drive our 'stangs this winter. At the very least, start planning another NW meet in April like earlier this year ... that was ... AWESOME. ;)

I think more of an issue is lack of actually having meaningful gatherings. Burgermaster and XXX are cool and all, but maybe planning events and other things might spark the interest of more people. Just my opinion.

no... its the lack of money! can't afford a new engine, can't afford a new car to replace the one that just wrecked.

i think we all agree that we love Mustangs but it takes money to keep this hobby going. when we get hit with an expensive repair (or the expense of replacing) then its better to get out instead of go under.

although better meeting would be a welcome thing! i liked the Champs meeting we had. :nice:

we should have meetings to work on each others cars and keep them from having major repairs and accidents.
