I bought an oil catch tank for my 98 GT Coupe. its suppossed to plug inbettween the PCV valve and the Intake but there are 2 PCV valves. One on the Drivers side where u pour the oil in and another on the passengers side. Which does it plus into? also the drivers side tude to the intake a bigger than the passengers side. so which side do i hook it up to?

Passenger's side is where the catch can goes. A breather goes onto the driver's side cam cover. Here's a pic of my engine for reference...

I sure hope that breather you have stuck onto your intake tube has a one-way check valve so it can't suck anything in!!!!!

If not you're seriously leaning out your a/f and are bound to cook something sooner than later!!!

Get that breather off there and plug that hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my set-up. It actually works pretty efficiently. I just put a rag under the valve on the bottom of the separator every once in a while and drain it. The PCV runs from the passenger side to the upper plenum.

I've had that hole on the intake tube plugged before. I have an Escort G-Timer (GT2) and the 0-60 mph results were the exact same regardless of having the breather on and the hole or having it capped off. On two launches with basically no spin (just a slight chirp both times) on the same starting point on the same stretch of road, the results were as follows (ECU being reset both times)...
hole capped off: 0-60 in 6.7 sec.
with breather: 0-60 in 6.7 sec.
I know those 0-60 times might seem pathetic, but I wasn't trying to roast the tires at all or launch the car at 3k rpm's either. Just quick take-offs with the pedal to the metal after that.
Besides the unrelated transmission problem (broken 1-2 syncro), All systems appear to be running normal. No knocking, pinging, irregular black or white smoke emitting from the tailpipes, etc.. so far.

BTW, GT2000JAY - nice looking setup in your engine bay.:nice: Is that the Steeda catch can by chance??

Nope, it's the Campbell-Hausfeld with two Earl's 90* fittings and 3/8" fuel line. A lot less money than the Steeda set-up.

Thanks for the compliment.
