Dent Protecting car cover

They have a car cover that says dent protecting. Does this ever work?

Don't know but I am looking to maybe get a better cover for mine, I have that nylon feeling one that has the cobra stitched on the front...paid 50 bucks for it thought something better might be nice for my 04?

Dent protection sounds nice.
