t minus 3 hours

I will officially be picking up my 05 Redfire Premium GT with dark charcoal leather interior and 5 speed tranny tonight at 7pm! :D

Stupid me forgot to bring my checkbook to work with me today so I have to drive 30 miles home and 30 miles back to the dealer. Those 60 miles are going to be the longest miles I have ever driven!

Here are some pics from this morning while she was still on the lot:

More to come after I get her home.

Okay, being new to the forum, I may be retarded, but isn't that Torch Red? I went to a local dealership last Friday and checked out a Redfire GT that had already been sold. I loved the color, but thought it was darker. Either way, congrats on the car!

Let me understand this correctly, you were geting a new 05 mustang and you didnt even know what color it was?

Maybe you were/are to excited to remember the color but I know I wouldnt forget that.

Thanks for going easy on me guys :). I test drove a Redfire at one dealer (McCrackin Ford in Wexford, PA), they wanted $3000 over sticker so I told them to shove it and drove to another dealer (Woltz and Wind Ford in Heidleburg, PA :nice: :nice:) where I found my, let me get it right this time, Torch Red GT.

I see the FROST on the hood, your in PA huh? Better enjoy it fast before it snows and they start salting the roads!! Sorry if I sound like I'm digging you but I live in sunny florida, my relatives live near Pittsburgh. Ill be picking mine up some day in mid to late December, I feel sort of sorry for all you guys living up in the snow! Thats got to be a drag wanting to go out and take your new Mustang out and wind it up , when you have to go slow and wash off the salt!!

When I get mine Ill take her out for a drive on a lonely country road here and wind her up for you guys up north!!

I live in NY and its not really a big deal. I've had 3 cars (1st was an '88) and I've never had any issues with rust. As for the snow...the plow guys are used to this crap every year so even if we get a foot of snow its off the road in a day or two. Snows only really a pain if your driving in the snowstorm or if you live somewhere where it doesnt snow much. Jan/Feb can be tough with the ice though
