your out of your f***ing mind, a fox mustang would need 500+ hp to go 180(+be geared for only top speed), it has a terrible drag coifeciant. You smoke to much gonja! A Z06 has a top speed near 180 are you telling me your mods that should give you about 260hp will make your fox as fast as an aerodynmaic vette with 400 hp.... keep dreaming you internet racer :rlaugh: :rlaugh: :rlaugh:
by the way i have a 347c.i. 91 that puts 387 at the rear wheels and it tops out at about 168, the car is not aerodynamic enough without butt loads of power

So, because you put a sticker that says 190 over a speedometer that goes up to 85 you actually think you went that fast? Damn, I need to get a 500mph sticker to put on my Tahoe so I can haul the trailer to the races faster. :rlaugh:

Just to let you know - the speedo on Canadian models have a marked top end of 240 Kph AND 150MPH on my 95 GT. My older Fox had both as well, but yes, it was far lower.
 
wish i woulda grabbed a picture... then maybe someone would believe me and as for leadsled, if u are enough of a moron to actually think that i didn't have a speedo cog put in so that my speedo would be within +/-2mph @150mph then u really are 1 dumb **** who has nothing better to do then bag on peoples because u drive a chevy. and as for the drag on the car all i know is that at about 155mph the car started to feel like it was floating (pissed me off at the time) but fact is it did it i was driving, and it drained quite a bit of gas from my tank. and what rears gears do u have in the '91 347 ?

I for one dont care about how fast it will go in the 1/4....I will probably never take mine to the strip and dont street race. This motor is starving for mods 300hp may be underrated just like the LS1 was when it came out. I know I had a 98 LS1 Camaro and it was a beast. This is not a drag car, this car was built for all around handling and performance....If you havent divin one or own you you just wouldnt know. I traded a 99 Cobra for mine and im impressed, I guess it boils down to how old and mature you are.

Amazingly you got a free speedo in the box with your shifter! Wow. What a mistake on the BBK factories part, huh? So what happened? Did they send you the speedo out of a Cobra R?

Step back and smell what you are shoveling... You're claiming you fox has a higher top end than a Cobra R! What a crock... Folks like you bring a bad light on true enthusiasts and you should just stop posting to forums until you learn how to tell the truth.

You have to read what he posted very carefully. He said it was a 190 MPH Speedo cover.

So all that means is that given the same speed he was going before, his speedo no reads higher. :lol:

New Speedo cover reads 180 MPH, means he was really going 142 MPH :rlaugh:

By god you are right... I missed that. This guy is a bigger twerp than his first post leads one to believe. After I read "Fox body" "180mph" I was laughing too hard to be very thorough reading his next posts.
