my car is clean like that...or it will be once its done. No emblems no handles no gas cap no truck lid key hole and no seems. The drip rails are being "rolled" so they are smooth like they do on the older rods but not shaved. We are discussing smoothing the cowl over but its not time for that yet. A custom tail light panel is also being constructed in order to retain the tri-bar look but with the lights in the panel being flush.

mdjay:: I have seen those pics befor but only just noticed: it looks like you have custom billet taillight bezels. I'm not crazy about the inside line, but otherwise, they look great.

gas cap deleters:: have any of you relocated the fuel filler/gas cap to the quarter panel like more modern autos? I hate filling up with the stock "leaded" filler opening. damnit, I want to shove the nozzle in and walk away, without having to open the trunk. hell, even another rear-oriented filler would be fine as long as it seals on the gas pump hose ok.

sin city:: what do you mean by "electric" gas cap? I've never heard of that. I think this is what Ozsum was getting at also.

Has anyone done this mod? I am thinking about trying it with a Probe gas cap since some were electric from the factory.

Dang, I had considered doing exactly this with a Probe cap in either the tail light panel or on the driver's quarter. Well, since my plans have changed about the route I'm taking, I guess it's no big deal. I didn't know the Probe covers were electric though, I thought they were cable operated.
