Dude I think you just got these pic's from someone else,,, because you couldnt notice that the boot was actually on?? I can see it on the pics, but you couldnt notice it, while being there in person!??
Also I can clearly see from the pic's that the backwindow is glass,, and you said you didnt know if it was or not,,,

Peace

I didn't know I was on trial but this is EXACTLY how it happend and why I didn't notice a few things. Like I said, I was just getting done with lunch when the two cars rolled up. By the time I walked out of Wendy's the black car was gone. This guy was sitting in the car, must have been waiting for the other guy to come back. I pulled up in my Trailblaizer, my wife was driving, I snapped the first pic of the drivers side and the pic from the front while pulling out of Wendy's. Then we pulled around to Taco Bell and took one more pic of the passenger side. So I never got out of the truck to go tap on the rear window to see if it was glass or not. Then I took my wife back to work and I went home to let the dog out. On my way back by Taco Bell that's when I saw he had the top down. That's when I got out and talked to him for less than two minutes, and asked him a few questions about the car. Then I snapped the last two pics with the top down. So the last two pics were taken about 10 minutes after the first ones so for all I know he pulled a boot out of his ass and put it on the car while I was gone.
That's why I didn't know for sure. But it looked to me like it was just the top and no boot. Any more questions officer.

It is quite obvious, particularly in the last picture, that there isn't any boot on the car. The way Ford has designed its convertible top boot for quite some time now, it covers all of the hole that the roof drops into.

I find it interesting that this car has a tan top and interior and there isn't a tan interior available right now on the 05 coupe. I wonder if they'll offer it in the spring?

By the way, I hope the dog did his business without making you wait too long. :rlaugh:

I just hate people that jump into these forums and whine and complain that everything is fake. Seems like that's the only reason they post on here. :bang:

yeah. it's interesting to note that risingforce has been silent, even thought his "opinion" has been challenged...
unlike you I have a life
I posted this message yesterday, and I have been workin today, so thats why I didnt post anything,,, also I didnt know anybody "challenged" my opinion,,,
I just know that after owning 3 convertibles , how the top would look down if its down without boot,,,,,
Also I never said anything about the picture being faked,, if you guys open your eyes , I did mention "I , just like others appriciate the pics you put up there"

so this isnt anything negative, not whining,,,
I do believe that the pics were from a real 2005 Mustang Convertible,,
the only doubts I still have is that the person who posted them was actually there,,, now what does that have anything to do with FAKE or whining!???
It just didnt seem like he knew enough when people asked questions,,,

Peace ,,,,,

awwww, why do you have to be mean.

I'm at work too, so you shouldn't automatically jump to the conclusion that if somebody answers during standard "eastern time" work hours, doesn't mean they are not working. They just happen to work with computers, complete with Internet access.

Now, if you had numerous convertible Stang, like you state, then you know that the boot covers the whole area, not just wrapped to the folded roof. Obviously, the new one folds differently, so that instead of having the underside of the roof and the handle/hooks combo pointing up, it's pointing down.
