Looking for newer GT, how to tell which ones are 260 or 305 hp?

With some bolt-ons you can get the 99+ GT into the 315 Flywheel HP. I got mine there before the KB with BBK LTs, BBK OffroadX, Magnaflow CB, Accufab Plenum w/ Accufab 75mm TB , Accel Kool Blue drop in filter and Steeda UD pullies. I was making 315 HP/ 364 TQ (272 RWHP and 310 RWTQ) with these mods.

Fast forward to the 9# KB kit, and I'm making about 470 HP/ 498 TQ (at the flywheel).

Ha that's funny, I loved my BMW but ready for some real action... This may not be relevant but there are 2 GT's I am looking at..Both are 02 GT, both are black, but her's the problem...One has cloth and is a 5spd, the other is leather and is auto. It is really convenient because both are in my town and both are around the same price...I really wanted to get a black GT with leather and a 5spd, but in this case I would have to go one or the other. Am I really going to notice a huge difference if I go with the auto instead of manual? I have always liked having a manual in a car, so I am worried if I will be happy with an auto..Thanks for any help!

If you are worried about getting an Auto, you will hate it and resent the car. Get the Manual and be happy. As far as leather seats, I love the looks of mine, but I slide all over the damn things when cornering hard. I would almost rather have cloth so your clothes will "stick" to it in the turns.

You payed alot, I got my 00 GT w/Roush Body Kit for $6600.

And I got 320's Horsepower with the stuff listed below but I got my car as is and I dont know what has been done internally.

I thought you didn't need a spacer after a TB and Plenum upgrade? I actually heard it reduces HP? Dont know this first hand, just stuff "I heard?

Maybe he means 320 at the FW?

Still no way even if that is fly wheel hp. With those mods maybe 275 at the fly. The Plenum won't add more than about 10rwhp and spacer and intake don't do much at all, maybe 1-3hp realistically. Depends on what how restrictive the exhaust is but i'd say about 5-10hp at most. If it is just catback then it doesn't do hardly anything.

Well, I did some wheeling and dealing on the black 5 speed cloth...Got it on Saturday(thank GOD Pentagon Federal Credit Union is open 24/7!!!) I had looked at the other one I mentioned with leather but it turned out to be a pewter color and I didn't like it. So anyway I will post up some good pics when the rain stops here in Bama!
