Anyone used the splice in MILs?

  • Sponsors (?)

Some people like the plug and play ones so they can take them off later is they want to. Other people don't like the idea of having to splice them into the wires. That being said, the splice in ones work exactly the same -you just have to spend 10 minutes to put them in. :D

I got a set of homemade ones from MCMMOTORSPORTS. He is a guy here in NC and has quite alot of posting on this forum. He did mine and mailed them the next day. I've had them in for several months and no problems. They are not as easy as the plug and play but for $16 shipped they beet the $60 ones.
If you sell the car and want to take the O/R pipe then just leave the MIL elims in the car. They are not going to hurt it. Have fun

Mine work good now too. The only problem i had was i didn't protect the passenger side one very well and it was resting on the header. It melted the solder and set my Check engine light off again. I will fix it and put it back in the car tomorrow. I'll be a little smarter this time.

i'm getting tired of PEP, they come in here all the time like "Hey you got a MIL problem???? I can help!!! buy my stuff!!!!" on like every post about mil questions. i wouldn't support them anymore. he's as annoying as commercials during a football game. :notnice:

it's ok to sell products but not to overexert your product

You must be confusing a company providing tech and supporting the community with vendor spam. We haven't been actively posting on the forums for 6-8 months. Take a look at the dates of my last 50 posts, and look at the information that was provided:

http://forums.stangnet.com/search.php?searchid=613216

We answer tech questions regarding MIL Elimiinators to help people out rather then trying to sell our products. This type of attitude is precisely why more vendors don't post on the boards to help the community as a whole.

We've done nothing but help people over the past 4 years, and do date, have a perfect 100% customer satisfaction rate.

I have a strong feeling your post has underlying motives, as if you met any of us in person, or talked to us on the phone, your views would be much different. If you have any additional concerns regarding our company, I suggest you give us a call personally to discuss, rather then trying to badmouth a company you know nothing about.

Keep the rubber side down, fellas.

I got one of the very first tracAdapt modules that Pony Express offered. There was a small problem with it (can't remember what) they shipped me out a brand new one the same day, no questions asked and it's worked great every since. I wish all companies had that kind of customer service.

Do What?? I have yet to see Dan spam any board. He does however provide reliable technical help for free. His customer service is awesome and failure rate on products is close to 0. Try that with DMP, ebay bubblegum with wires sticking out, and all the copycat units out there. He has a PhD level electrical engineer doing the R&D for him and beats many of the companies to market with products, ie Autometer and MSD with thier tach adapters that mysteriously hit the market a few months after his.

Sounds like you have some underlying issues with PEP that you haven't voiced yet. If you feel better about buying mil eliminators off of ebay from some goof in his basement that copied the professionally R&D'd units and they look like a wad of gum with some wires poked in it, go right ahead. You probably think the rear o2 sensors make you car run bad and the mil makes it go into limp in mode right...
