I was wondering what an 04' GT would go for now that there's big incentives to sell that the new 05's are out. I looked on the Ford website but I know those numbers are bs because the 04's are at the same prices as the 05's.

Sorry I'm a n00b when it comes to pricing.

do your homework. i bought mine back in feb 04 (it is an 04) and paid right around twenty. the car stickered for 26,800. you should be able to get the car for invoice and still get the incentives and rebates off of that. that would be a steal

My brother just bought a 04 gt premium package $17.5k.

Sorry but I have to call :bs: ! There is no possible way to buy a premium 26K car for $17.5. Rebate is only $3000 and there is not anywhere near $5500 dollar mark up, even if you include the holdback!

As an employee, after rebate I paid $19,300.

I paid $15,288 for a 2001 White Mustang GT Convertible used with 35,038 miles. I know this has nothing to do with 2004 but a good price is a good price. The certified used vehicle I bought even comes with a warranty (6yr/75,000) Powertrain. Though from the original owner, there's only 3 years and about 36,000 miles left on the Powertrain warranty since Ford adds the warranty from the very first date the car was sold.

One of the Ford places by me is advertising a Comp Orange GT for $8097 off. The car sticker is $25,235 something. They are giving the $3000 factory rebate plus something called a power discount of $ 5097 ( something they made up no doubt)

I sell for a dealer in Southern Indiana. You can with some negotiaion purchase an '04 GT at "A" plan (Ford Employee Price) right now. In this region there are $2500 in rebates which means you would be at around $19,000-$21,000 (depending on Deluxe/Premium, 5-speed/Auto) after all discounts. In other words, figure about $5,500 off sticker.

When did you buy yours? Where did you buy yours? Maybe the dealer he went to was hurting for a sale.
