Rear seat delete ?

Who in here has a rear seat delete, and where can you recommend to get one? If anybody has pictures that would be cool to see some.
I think what I am going to do is mount my nitrous bottle behind the front seats, and do a little custom installation of my stereo to go with it to dress up my interior a little.
Also how was the ease of installation?

For the price of one of thoes kits, I would grab a big sheet of cardboard, make a template and test fit it in your car until its right, then go buy some wood from Home Depot or Lowes and cut your own out. No doubt thats a nice kit, but for around $200 shipped for a piece of wood with carpet on it, I'll pass. Nothing against the guy, but thats just throwing money out the window for something that you could do fairly easily yourself.

You could also make your own. Just use cardboard as a template and jigsaw a piece of thin plywood(not very familiar with sizes so I won't recommend one). They look pretty simple to make. Just a thought.

Thanks for the info guys. After I thought about how easy and cheap it would be to make my own, I think I will go that route.

Thats why you clamp a guide to the board to cut along if your using a circular saw or jig-saw

Everyone uses wood which is the easiest and most economical. Fiberglass would be the best route but then again how many people have the knowledge or the resources for it. I live in the heart of the RV industry so i guess i'm just used to having it so accessable.

Yea, just make the thing from 1/4" plywood, carpet it with black or grey, and you'll have yourself the EXACT same thing these other guys are getting almost $200 bucks for...lol and to tell ya the truth, most of them arent worth the money. I should really make these things and sell em for $75 bucks
The plywood is the most expensive part of this (if you concider plywood expensive)
Ive made one for my coupe and one for my vert for MUCH cheaper.

Yep, seen 'em go cheap on ebay to, I almost bought one there, but couldn't bring myself to do it, as I am a carpenter by trade...lol so, plan on making one this winter.

Don't worry...........there' plenty of 94/95 ones that come up once in a while there too. Last time i checked there were 8.
