347 Decision made

Pops....the 347 properly built should be an animal.

Now...that being said, I have a concern. I see a combo you have currently right now that should be about 25rwhp more than what it is. I was running 13.6 @ 100 before my heads/cam.

What I'm getting at here is this, and I've seen it before with many of my friends. They build a combo that they are expecting big things out of. When they don't get them...they get frustrated and then throw more money at it or step up the next big round of mods hoping to get to the next power level.

What isn't happening is the maximizing of what you have and learning how to make a engine combination perform to its fullest. I could be wrong, but if you follow the path I've seen before...you're 347 will be down in power, just as your 302 is.

The people who I have seen have the best success in stepping up combinations are the people who have squeezed EVERYTHING out of their current combo and now want to go to the next step.

Once again...don't take this as a put-down...its only my observations and concerns I've seen with other people.

I agree I probably am not getting everything out of the current set-up and Iam doing exactly what you have said.. Hopefully this one will be better, I will work all problems out on this one and squeeze every HP out of it.

That is my goal.
