Is Windveil Blue a feminine color?

I've read some posts on this board and others, stating that W/B is a little old lady color. Just curious what the ratio is between men and woman who have this color. Personally, I'm a man, and have a W/B GT on order. After reading some of these posts, it's a good thing I'm secure in my masculinity!

I orderd the Legend Lime and admitedly that is a concern.

I suppose it's kinda like ordering a yellow ferrari. Yellow Jetta or Yellow Sunfire is very very gay. However you could add a fur coat, sparkles, and a hello kitty picture to a ferrari and it would still be cool.

... and if some chick still thinks it's gay then **** her.

I have a 1965 Mustang coupe that has a very similar color to the Windveil Blue (color is not original). I have had it since I was 16, and it went with me to high school everyday. If the color didn't get made fun of at a high school, I can't imagine where it would get made fun of! I always get complimets on the color, and when that it is freshly waxed, and the sun gleams off it, there is no better color! I must say that I have seen a W/B car with the medium parchment interior, and I do not think that is the way to go. I would do W/B and the dark graphite (sorry if you got the medium parchment  ). Plus blue is always awesome (hence the new Blue Mustang Registry!)

Dude it's your car, you have to look at it everyday, if you like the color then get it.

LOL. I like legend lime and wv. blue. Other than pink (esp. hot pink!), when the f**k have car colors alone been gender specific? :) It's more the car and the color together that matter. The new stang is not a girly looking design IMO, so pretty much any color would be fine (other than the foremetioned pink). Course not as tough looking as my '88 IROC-Z28 (disgaree and I'll cut ya with the switchblade that's in my sock:D). Heh.

I've spoken to quite a few females about my '05 (gf, female friends, friends' wives, etc). After showing them a brochure, they overwhelmingly chose Windveil Blue as their favorite color. Not saying it's a feminine color, just relaying my experiences...

I was considering WB until I saw it in person. IMO, it is too feminine. I think LL is borderline. However, I like SY and some pepole think it's feminine.
Get whatever you like, as long as it's a Mustang.

I think that it is a great color. my choice was between redfire and windveil blue, the family voted and redfire won. almost all of the early stangs, as well as camaros, chevelles, vettes offered some color close to windveil blue (like a like steel blue color). I believe that is why ford offered it on the 05. great color IMO. :nice:

don't like it. i wish ford had a dark green or dark blue for the 05 stang. like deep forest green or highland green. and caspian blue or midnite blue. i had to settle on mineral grey. it seems that in 06 they still won't have any dark green and i'm not sure what vista blue is but it sounds pretty feminine.

I agree with Marcus; the Mustang just doesn't have a girlish design, IMHO, so it doesn't matter what color you get, as long as you like it. I plan on getting one of the reds next year (can't make up my mind which one), and that might be considered a girlie color, but it doesn't look girlie on a sports car, especially a Mustang!

Thunder Road,

I think I'm in the same boat as you (LOL). Ever hear that "Man Song on Bob and Tom in the morning? That's my life!! Oh well she and the daughter love the mustangs, this redfire one will be my 5th!
