Hey Everyone,

I'm in my Senior year at Univ. of Delaware and need a little guidance on my dream car. I stopped by the local dealers, but they look at me like I'm some snot nosed kid. I want to order an 05 GT Premium to have it in time for graduation (May 2005). When would be the best time to order???? And also, when you order, are you expected to bargain a price?? Any help would be awesome!

order it as soon as you can there have been alot of delays so far and they can only get furhter behind so i would order as soon as you can!! when you order dont over pay you can find dealers willing to give you the car for a few hundred over invoice if the first one doesnt do this go somewhere else a little shopping will save you thousands of $$$

Go in there with all your ducks in a row. Have all your specs ready, and know the price for each option. Build your car on forddirect.com. When you walk into the dealership and show the salesman that you did your homework, he'll take you seriously. As for negotiating, ordering a car for a customer saves the dealer $$$. There's no overhead costs for keeping the car on the lot. So you should be able to get a good deal. You said you go to Univ of Del. which means you're not far from Philly and Baltimore. It seems like the larger dealerships aren't as willing to negatiate
