I know it doesnt sound like much, but I've gotta spend it cause i got it as Christmas money. I'm not too worried about performance, cause my dad isnt too hot on letting me make it faster right now, so i was leaning twords something to make it look better??? I've got and H-Pipe in the garage, and mufflers in the mail, thats my only mods. Any ideas please help!!!!

I was thinking about tuning my car up some more, K&N, Dist. Cap & Rotor, 9mm Ford Racing plug wires, maybe an optima battery???
I was also thinking about a new leather shift boot, and a leather 03 Cobra knob.
Or some headlights, and emblems?

K&N, Dist. Cap & Rotor, 9mm Ford Racing plug wires will run you about $100. for the other $100 i'll send you my bbk polished aluminum pulleys :). you can't get them that cheap anywhere...

get the e-cam you want. you mean to tell me that your dad would be pissed if you already had it and wanted his help to put it in.

if not, i would go with cold air kit and a tune up.

The pullies and tuneup combination sounds good. If you got black underdrives your dad really wouldn't know. If they were polished or anodized you could just say they're to dress up the engine bay. ;)
Also, why is a cap and rotor $40?

i just got some ford racing wires for $32 at advance auto parts. since i go up there all the time, i can get some there and throw them the box with the pulleys.

so $130 for the pulleys and the wires...something to think about.

Well i'm pretty convinced on MSD Cap and Rotor $25.00. Ford Plug Wires $40.00. K&N Filter - $40.00, and eBay headlights - $135.00. and a bluetooth dongle for my cell. But i'll think about it blackvert! BTW i've got $250 instead of $200

let me know. i can get them for $32 locally.

Sorry to jack the thread, (good choices by the way) but i just went through Blue Oval Industries and picked up the Smoked Headlights and Fog Lamps from them for 235 US dollars, plus shipping. Not a bad deal, it just sucks that I can't install them till I get back home from this hole.

Hey xr8d302 did you buy them off ebay or from blue oval industries directly?

Ok enough hijacking. I say get the tune up stuff and the pullies if you can swing it. Like others said your dad will never know and they are a pretty good mod for the price (my first mod actually.....I rem like it was yesterday. :rlaugh: )

Matt, get the K&N, Cap & Rotor, & wires. Also, put in new plugs, hoses, alignment, break job. Maintenance first, then other stuff. Try polishing the headlights before you replace them. Get some Blue Magic metal polish and 1500 grit wet sand paper. Wet sand then polish with a buffer. FYI, I still have those old head bolts too!
