Will 5.0L BBK equal lenght headers work with a 5.8L Motor in a 90 Mustang

Title say is all. I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I have a 69 351 .030 laying in the floor of my garage. It's all stock with flat top piston and a comp cam or rebuild my 302 and make it .030 over. In the 302 now I have a good cam, good heads that need a valve job but are ported, and a good intake. The 351 has cast iron intake, stock 69 heads with stainless steel valves and a comp cam. If I put the 351 in would my equal length headers work with a fox body mustang. The 351 ports sit higher than 302 ports do in the car.

You might be able to get it to work if you heat and beat the h pipe. The W has a much higher deck height.

I don't have an H or X pipe just pipe and mufflers. I knew I would have to fix that. Thanks. I thinking I'm just going to rebuild the 302 make it .030 over and deck the block. But I'm not sure the 351 is brand new. Hasn't even been fired up yet. Block has been deck. I think I might buy and intake and cam and put it on the 351. I can't make up my mind.

you can use your ho intake they make conversions for the intake off a 302 to the 351 also you 302 heads will work

My head on my 302 need new valve and seats, guides and seal. They have been on three differnet motors. The 351 has all new stuff. I would just buy a new intake for the 351. My 302 went 12.89 and the 351 should go in the low 13's. The way it sit. I could put a bigger cam and a nice intake. It's would make it run a better. For some reason I really want to rebuild my 302, But it's just some much easier to drop the 351 right in just swap a few parts. I wish the 351 had a roller cam because I would take it out of my 302 and put it in the 351. But it's a Flat Tap cam.
