Whats going on here?

I need to remove some wiring and clean my engine bay... Badly.
Some chrome valve covers and polishing the accessories will be done shortly, as well as a battery relocation.. But here is my question. Why the hell do I have so many wires in my engine bay... IF IM CABRED?!?!
Check this pic for a good look at how bad it is.

If you feel up to it, photoshop it and tell me what I can remove.. I NEED to keep the AC

Look at this guys engine bay.. He has AC hooked up, and looks WAY better than mine..

LOTS of work to do their salty - glad it's you and not me. Here's one tip. All those places you have white nylon tie wraps - like the heater hose bundle - replace them with black tie wraps. After you've pulled them up tight, cut the protruding end of the tie wrap off, then rotate them around so the mechanical catch on the wrap is under the bundle where you can't see it.

Good luck with the project. Oh - you can have a hydraulic hose shop make you up a flexible high pressure power steering hose. Mine uses one to mate the Ford pump to the Volvo power steering rack. But why replace the hard metal part? Does it not fit right/has it been bent as a result of the 351 conversion?

I dont know how to explain the rust, it was like that when I got it.
As for selling it, I couldnt let the baby go for only 5500$ , it just wasnt worth it, So looks like I will be spending a additional 580$ to get this thing trailored up north.
I wanted to replace the metal AC lines because they dont look nice =]
BTW, you see on the right side where the battery is? Which of those wires can I remove?
