 trying to complete my project; coming on three years; need advice on fuel and exhaust. car will be daily driven. The engine is about 650 hp n/a with a carb, (607 hp before step headers, good plugs, and race fuel) and will have a dedicated fuel system for the fogger nitrous system. Talked to bb&t racing and they say aeromotive a1000 will not hold up, and I searched on stangnet and saw bad posts on the a1000. was thinking about barry grant stuff. what is a Dependable and Quiet fuel pump for the engine, that some of you may have on your cars? Also what is the quietest 4 inch muffler that will support about 1000 hp? Something that won't draw unwanted attention. Need all the help i can get. would appreciate any advice.

I've been running the BG220 HR pump for about 4 years now. The thing is reliable, flows like crazy, and works great even on the street. I run a -8an supply and -10an bypass line. So far I've just replace the filter element every other year and it keeps on working. For the Mufflers, I'd go Magnaflow definately. If you want it quieter, get the longest one they make. When you look at a Magnaflow, you can look straight through them and would think they'd be loud as hell but they're not. You'll make more power with this type muffler than a chambered muffler.

I havent heard a fuel pump that would feed 1000 hp that is quiet. Not that someone doesnt make one , I just havent seen one. I use a product engineering pump and regulator. The pump flows 460 gph and is adjustable up to 43 psi and it is pretty noisy. Mufflers , I have no idea. I use the 5 in. Bullets and they are loud also. Hope this helps some.

actually i will have a dedicated fuel system just for the nitrous, so i will only need a fuel pump that will feed about 650 or 700 hp. will probably us the a2000 aeromotive pump for the nitrous.
