Harwood's 3 inch pin on cowl hood...any good?

i need to adjust the hood pins on it. and i had a little trailoring accident with it. it fell off of it and the front end caught the trailor and slighty bent the front end making it look upwards, so i have to adjust everything

I used to have a Harwood bolt on hood and I had to trim it a little but it fit nice and the quality was good. I bought it a long time ago when Cervini's was just getting started. At that time Cervin's were not that good so Harwood was the only choice. Although Cervini's have done some major improvements since then and now put out Top Quality products. :nice:
Not sure if Harwood has improved over the years but here is a picture of my hood that I bought back in 95. You make the call.

Harwood makes good stuff. They have been around forever.....with good reason. Cervini also makes nice glass ware too. Be carefull. Just because the price is 200-220 doesn't mean that it won't cost that plus another 50-80 to get it to your house.

I went to Summit Racing today and ended up buying the bolt on version instead of the pin on. I already had $40 in store credit, so it only cost me $418 out the door. I'm surprised at how straight the fiberglass is. I haven't trial fitted it yet, but I'm sure it will need a little trimming just to even up the edges, but nothing major (15 min worth). I can't wait to install it!

Thanks for everyone's input in helping me find the right hood. I'll let you guys know how it looks when it's all done.

And YES, I got hood pins.
