...was hopin no tix and no accidents in my first 2+ yrs of drivin, good student discount, long term customer, etc would help. they said it will drop to 3500/yr when we get the security system installed tho

my old 97 v6 stang was 1200/yr...big jump from that to 05 gt

Just got my insurance renewal from AAA today. 33yrs old and $850 for the new 2005 Mustang GT for the full year with FULL coverage and $250 deductible. Old 1995 5.0l was actually MORE than that last year!

I just rec'd online quotes from Allstate, Geico and Progressive. All are approx 1200-1250/year Full Coverage, for Single Male , 42 Years old, No Accidents, Clean record, Excellent (798) Credit Rating, Hou, Tx-Harris County)

Note: approx 2 months ago, Progressive quoted almost 300/year More.

Seems, according to an insurance lady on Brads Site, that the 05 has a lower rating than initially given to me. I think it was a 24 now it is a 19. This is for the GT not the V6

Im paying $2400/yr for the 05 GT and my 00 Lexus LX470. Not too bad considering ive got two at fault accidents.

All these figures do nothing for the next guy. Your personal driving record, the area you live in, and of course, the amount of coverage you choose all affect your premium. I'm paying $2,220 per year, which is pretty good, considering I'm in the Philly area and my driving record isn't perfect, but that might be a high premium for someone else

$977 full coverage for a year, I was very impressed with the rate. I was ready to be raked over the hot coals. This is on a 05 GT, Im happy!
