Hey guys... I've owned an import for about 5 years. Always had a love for the mustang ever since my older brother bought his new back in 89. I work at a dealership and a 03 cobra came in and I fell in love with it. The plan is to sell my import first then look into finding a used 03. Is their any tranny problems or anything of that sort that I should be aware of? I don't want to buy someone elses problems... if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance.

Danny.

On the earliest of versions, there was a tendency to stall occassionally.

This was determined to be a computer glitch and was repaired at the dealer. Later 03's have a different computer.

I have the older one. No stalling probs though :spot:

My transmission had a 6th gear vibration from the factory with 80 miles on it. It was broken down and 6th gears were replaced twice. The day before the lemon law took effect ford overnighted a new T56 in to replace mine but not before. I'm still a bit bitter about it but with 6000 miles now the car is holding strong.

Thanks guys for all the replies. I'm pretty excited and looking forwarded in getting one. I just have to sell off my nissan sentra se first. Car runs pretty good.. even though I want to get rid of it. Best numbers at the track was 13.6 @ 111.5mph with a 2.3 60'. Car makes 287whp/248lbs. I'm in the coral springs, fl... so if you know anyone who's interested in an import let them know I'm selling mine. Thanks in advanced.

Danny.
