Harrelson Ford and the Month Old GT's....

That cant be right. I drove passed Harrelson Ford yesterday and they had 2 GT's (and like 8 V6's).
Yep...that's the same 2 white GT's they have had since mid-november. (I test drove both on Saturday, Nov 20th...Apollo (?) Brown was the salesman).
as best as I can remember
The auto is White premium GT with parchment leather, IUP, shaker 500
The manual is White premium GT with parchment leather, Shaker 500 (no IUP or anything else except the leather).
When I was there they had lot's of people looking at them but would NOT put on the sticker price they kept saying they hadn't printed them yet (?) but they quoted me $34,000 for the Auto and $32,000 for the manual...only after you had filled out the credit ap did they tell me...I left for another dealer then.
If you are from this area, doesn't it surprise you that Town and Country have had NO GT's ???? I have looked since they got the first 3 V-6 models....Tony Scapisco said they have only got a commitment for 2 by Feb 06. I think he is full of crap.
My gut tells me that Town and Country (and Earl Tindoll in Gastonia) bought a load of 2004 (they have like 20!!) and expected to sell them when the 05's ran short. SURPRISE! Not only are the 04's not moving but the most people are trying to get their hands on the GT's and not the V-6. I know the V-6 accounts for 60-70 percent of all sales...but right now the "enthusiasts" are the one's shopping and they want the HONKING' V8's!! When I stopped at Earl Tindoll I had barely got out of the car before the salesman was asking what I wanted to look at. When I told him I wanted to see the 05's he sadly shook his head and said "You don't want a first year car...not with a family..I can get you a great deal on a 2004" Which they had 2 rows of WITH NO DISCOUNTS off MSRP. The deal was low percent financing. They also have 5 2004 Saleens but he told me that they are not coming off the sticker on them either...I turned right around and put the wife and 4 kids back in the car....hahahahah....Sale lost! (note: This is typical of my experience at this dealer...I have bought Fords 3 times and every time the attitude of the salesman / manager have driven me to another dealer.)
Since this area has LOT'S of ford dealers I was surprised by how few GT's. Dale Jarret does have the V-6 manual tranny cars...which is surprising from what we hear on how hard they are to find...
PS....I start in Concord/Kannapolis and finished in Gafney, SC. before I found my GT. Including physical and internet searches it was like 26-28 dealers I had looked through.
