They are going on my buddies 17x9 cobra rims. Actually they are on currently and can hook when its cold. These are the DRs.xseler8 said:What size wheels are they going on?
a buddy of mine has a set on his 68 cougar with a 419 stroker, c6 and a built 9" rear and he grenanded the rear on it on the 2nd launch with the M/T drag radials . I drove the car a couple times with them and they seem to hook no matter how hard you launch it.chini42 said:Sorry to jack your thread, but has anybody tried the Mickey Thompson drag radials (ET Street ?). My buddy put them on his GTO that runs 11.9's and said they hooked better than any non-slick that he ever tried. Its winter time right now in Detroit, so i figure that its a good time to spend money on the car while she is locked in the garage until spring.
