New 275/40/r17BFG DRs, kills nittos

Here are some pics of the these new tires. Holy **** are they wide. A lot wider than my nittos and hell that is my size 12 boot in the picture for some comparison.

Sorry to jack your thread, but has anybody tried the Mickey Thompson drag radials (ET Street ?). My buddy put them on his GTO that runs 11.9's and said they hooked better than any non-slick that he ever tried. Its winter time right now in Detroit, so i figure that its a good time to spend money on the car while she is locked in the garage until spring.

Hope you have a built rearend because sooner or later with those slicks, youre going to snap an axle. My neighbor has M/T slicks and a few other goodies and runs inthe 11's

I believe the tail is an option I've had BFG's for about a year now and they hook way better than Nitto's. My best 60' has been 1.71 N/A and 1.60 on a 100 shot

Those are the original thread pattern like mine, but BFG has starting calling all their DR's "G-Force" for some reason...very confusing

I guess when I snap an axle , it will give me a reason to build it. Thanks for the heads up though.

They are going on my buddies 17x9 cobra rims. Actually they are on currently and can hook when its cold.These are the DRs.

THat is my cat playing in them, no you cant have her.

a buddy of mine has a set on his 68 cougar with a 419 stroker, c6 and a built 9" rear and he grenanded the rear on it on the 2nd launch with the M/T drag radials . I drove the car a couple times with them and they seem to hook no matter how hard you launch it.

i have those same tires sitting next to my bed. same size even. but i dont have those snappy looking shoes.
