Is Windveil Blue a feminine color?

Windveil blue is a great color (as is legend lime).

Don't worry about it - I've been driving a daffodil yellow '66 Chrysler convertible for 15 years (not my first choice, but the used car factory was fresh out of dark green ones) and it hasn't made me turn gay.

To add to the masses of the women onlookers, my wife just loves the WB, IMO it looks better in print than in person, but the LL is completely opposite, nasty in print, but awsome in person. When I do order my GT, after winter, mine will be LL with the dark charcoal inside, with black rally stripes ontop and on the sides, to me the LL screams retro, lets race for what you got in your wallet, muscle car.

that just my .02

wow this never even crossed my mind.... legend lime and windveil blue feminine colors?? I guess W/B is kind of light, but aside from that WTF??? And legend lime.. how on earth is that one feminine? (or masculine for that matter)
Now the actual name of W/B... thats a whole nother story

Well, to avoid any chance of having my gorgeous lemon lime car be classified as "effeminite" I'm going to try getting the License Plate "Bullitt", "Bulitt 1" or something similar.

I do wish it were a little darker green though.

When I saw a legend lime color sample I was sickened :puke:

Then I saw a legend lime GT in person at my local dealer and fell in love with it. Its a color that doesnt photograph well I think but seeing it in person catching the sun it looks really classy and compliments the lines of the car very well. I will still pick redfire, I know a lot of stangs are this color, but I still really like it, but I will admire a LL car whenever I see it in person.

I'm considering the WV blue, I really like it, but seeing it in person is the clincher and I havent seen one yet. I don't like the LL, not because it's girlie, I just don't care for it. I originally wanted yellow, but the wife said no way, and hers is the only opinion I care about or have to consider since I share the house with her. I usually consider longevity and ease of maintenace when picking a color. I've owned two black cars now, never another. They look great, for about a day after you wash them, especially if you don't have garage space, which I don't. Red, no way, to much work also and I'm just not a red kind of guy. Silver is nice, but it seems every car on the road these days is silver (2003 numbers showed silver easily beat every other color for all car types).

If I had my choice, grabber blue like my 71 mach, loved that color. Bottom line, get whatever puts the biggest smile on your face. :D

go ahead, call me a girl, I like my windveil. and btw, it doesn't hurt that females like the color to. I've gotten quite a bit of really good lookin girls just go lockjaw when they see the car

I hear the windevil blue model is now coming with one of those bud vases like in the beetle. Ohhhhh....... No really, I ordered it too. Loved it from the moment I saw it, especially when the dealer told me the color sucked and I should not buy it. It is a clasic throw back to the sixties, which is what I like about the car in general. Plus, a smokin red one is going to draw expectations that you are a boy racer. Its what's under the hood that counts, and I don't want to "pull it out" until I want it. Then they can say, wow that girly man car smokes.

Best, L.L.

Thats great! My buddie's car died awhile back and he was stuck driving his girlfrieds Beetle for a few weeks, man did we bust his balls about that flower vase. :rlaugh: He was gonna use it as a shot glass (in the house of course, not while driving).

I just saw a Windveil Blue 'stang at the dealers' today. In my opinion, it's vary bland. Nothing to write home about. The name 'Windveil' kind of suggests softness or femmininity but the color itself is unremarkable either way.
