i was looking at a post earlier and someone stated something about gears on mustangtuning for like 130 or so.... out of curiousity i looked it up and they have some Motive Performance Pluse 3.73's for like 135. on the site they state that they like them better than FRPP b/c there cheaper and made just as well. any feedback on these gears?? are they worth it or should i go ahead and bump up and get the FRPP ones.... No big deal really but if i can save a lil money why not, also is there any warranty issuses? ive heard there were but i think my warranty is about out anyways...... thanks

I have FRPP 4.10's and they are great! I
don't get any noises or problems with them.FRPP is made for are cars and I
would choose the FRPP's over the Motive.
Because I was reading on the corral that
the Motive gears are made with a softer
metal than the FRPP gears and people had
better experiences with the FRPP gears.
Two weeks before I even purchased my
gears I meet a guy at Jiffy Lube when I
was waiting for my Diff oil to be drained
and refilled in the waiting room.He had a
blue 95 GT he said with 3.73 Motive Gears
and he was telling me to get FRPP gears
because he was getting noise and rattles
from his rearend! So that's why I got
FRPP 4.10's :nice:

I had motives in my 90 lx for 3 yrs and I sold it 3 yrs ago and it still is running them with no problems. I jsut recently put them in my 04 as well. I havent ever had a chatter problem. I know the frpp are awesome gears but cut the motive some slack, they are great for the price.

There is nothing wrong with motives. If you have noise problems its 95% chance the install was not done properly and very little its the gears.

there are alot of gear companys that sell ones that dont fit right, like Richmond.

i recommend FRPP first than motive.
