I had a real Schitty track experience my first time going (was a lot of fun!) but my times were pitiful 14.4 @ 104 (no traction whatsoever) but on a side note. Where in my RPM band should i be shifting my gears... maybe that was part of the problem... i was shifting too late. Usually i was shifting right around 5900-6k but i was always under the assumption these centrifical Blowers made power throughout the RPM range which allowed me to push it as hard as i could.

If you get a set of drag radials, that would prolly improve your times HUGELY. What is your 60' time. Those numbers are definately WAY low for a supercharged car. Just takes practice I guess.

I am not sure if it would change w/ your type of S/C, but stock I shifted at 5500-5600 and ran a 14.2 (1st time at the track). I have done a lot of reading and found this to be the best for a stock engine, but you are right, w/ a centri S/C, I am not sure if it would be worth it to shift at a higher rpm, maybe some centri guys will read this and comment on their experiences.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!!. My 1st run was 14.5@100 with drag radials. That's OK...we will get better with each run. Anyway, I shift at 5500 with a Raptor shift light.

Don't feel bad. My first time to the track with the KB blower, I ran 14.1 sec. Then, I switched to drag radials and with a bit of practice, my best time has been 12.4. Now I'm shooting for 11.9 next season (with ET Drags, new clutch Spec Stage 2, new 31 spline axles, new eaton differential, larger intercoller reservoir, etc.)

have yoiu ever been to the dyno? if so look at your chart and where the power starts to drop off is where you need to shift at. now with a supercharger it should continue to climb so I would say 6k but again look at your dyno sheet, no need to keep going up in rpms if the power is dropping off.
