What mufflers or set-up do you have to do to get that loud and abnoxious high pitch poppin when you let off the gas and downshift?

When i say high pitch i dont mean ricey either, high pitch but still a v8

My car does exactly as you say above.

I have 1 3/4 BBK longtubes, Dr Gas OFFROAD X Pipe, and Borla 2.5" catback.

Quieter at idle, gets loud and racecar sounding when I get on it, sometimes pops loud when I am decelerating or downshift. BTW, this also happened when I had 2 chamber flowmasters.

I don't know if this will happen with a stock 5.0 though, I never had an offroad pipe on any of mine, but it didn't pop with a catted X pipe and Borla exhaust. it did however make a similar burbling sound on decel.

Reading the previous posts, apparently any system you put on it will sound exactly like you want it to. Funny.

Way more things than just the mufflers contribute to the way a car sounds. Engine size and the way it's built (different components change the sound), exhaust size, h/x/prochamber, cats or not, if cats what kind and how many, which muffers and where they exit - all these things contribute to the volume and quality of the sound. Just don't want you to think if you put on the same mufflers your car will sound the same as some other with the same mufflers. The mufflers are only one variable that contribute.
