I have a pretty much stock bottom end so I don't need anything major just something that will work and give me the extra edge.

I need a kit that has everything I'll need to install the system and a BOOK so I can know what to do and what not to do.

I've been looking at edelbrocks setup and a couple of NOS systems. Is one better than the other or are they pretty much the same with a diffrent name and price?

All of the kits seem to be of about the same quality.

They will all have adequate installation instructions that will cover everything you need to do.

If your mostly stock.. I'd go with a 100hp kit. But to be honest, I'm running a stock bottom end (cast pistons even) and have my kit jetted for +150HP.

Your sig says you have a stock 8"...what gears are out there? If you havent upgraded to a lower gear, and are still running granny 2:79s then i suggest that you get some gears first and go from there. In my opinion I thought it was the best "bang for the buck". Nitrous side of things.....You say your bored out .060 over.....how you keeping that thing cool? Stock heads? any porting done to them? I recently purchased a edlebrock #70001, read up on a couple of threads of mine, there are many things to consider. You will need to upgrade some other things that arent included in the kit. Heads up, the nitrous money pit can be very deep and will take more than just the kit to fill.

As long as you are careful and get it jetted right you'll be cool. I am using the Nitrous Express Hitman kit. Awesome quality! Went together really easy. Pretty inexpensive starter kit, however where they get you is with the add-ons, bottle warmer, remote bottle opener etc. Good luck!

If I keep the 8inch I'm going to bump up to a 3.73 but I'm planning on a 9inch.

Keep it cool, I've got an after market radiator and haven't had a problem with if over heating.....yet.

I'll be getting 185 afrs this summer.

I like to have a plan way in advance before I do anything anymore. Like the engine if I new what I know now I would have gone a diffrent way with it so I plan WAY in advance now, thats why I'm asking about the NOS. It will be after I get my heads and won't be a big shot, I was thinking 75-100 some where.
