Well it is in and running a 347 stroker in Pop Fun yea. :D
Had Pauls Auto build a shortblock... all forged internals. Do you know they custom fit/cut each ring?? I didn't know... anyway. Oldest son (Jay)and I took the old engine out about 2 weeks ago. Air tools and a lift what a way to work!! and a master mechanic to boot.

Picked up the new shortblock Wednesday and started install about 5 pm. Had the motor back together Heads/Cam etc and in the car about 11pm that night. This morning started wires transmission etc. Finished around 4pm :(
Can't wait til I can get it on the dyno and tune it.. They said not to drive it very far without a tune. :( Also has a new Centerforce so 500 miles of taking it easy.
Was stupid and decided to drive it home from Milford Thursday in the white stuff.... :nono: I know not to smart. Made it until I came to my driveway ... got stuck, almost hit neighbors fence Called family and 4 people straighted me out and it is safe in the garage... Dyno coming maybe next week.
Jay degreed the cam and decided to advance it 2 degrees. I know it's not much but maybe I will see it ?? He said 2 degrees is a lot on a bike(he raced motorcycles before kids). Not sure about cars??
Photos to come..

sweet shortblock. what's ur compression would be with the twested wedge heads ?!? is the crank internally balanced ?!?!

Compression 10.1- to 1... yes the crank is internally balanced.. Seems like it revs a lot faster with the aluminum flywheel. Course only driven it about 20 miles through the snow so what do I know..
