K and n air rFiletr, can this filter actaully add up to 15 extra horses?

It won't "GIVE" you power. All it does is less restriction from the stock and dirty airfilter. So if your old filter is seriously finished, then yes 15HP is doable. If your filter is currently a brand new stock filter, you won't see any gains worthy of the extra cost of a K&N. But K&N is like installing billet accessories IMO. The only big thing I see is that you can just clean it instead of buying a new one all the time, and it's having a brand name thing in the car. But a pully kit will give you some good and cheap power though.

You can clean paper elements. Just run HOT water through from the backside and watch the dark water run down the drain, let it dry and reinstall.

BTW, it's not free horsepower because if you increase the amount of air coming in, the computer will add some extra fuel.
