Youre right about the "perfect", however in the numerous posts on here Ive read about tires...275's will work on an 8" (I had them) especially if theyre Nittos, and the 315's will "work" on a 9", again esp if theyre Nittos.OinkAodeOink said:Like i told ya man... 275x40 on your 17x9's.. perfect tire.
Now if you had an 8" wheel, ide recomend a 245x45
Or a 10.5" wheel, ide recomend a 315
I have also seen 275/40/17 falkens on a 8'' rim it looked and handled well on a supercharged gt, just remember not to over inflate you tires!OinkAodeOink said:yea, like RC mentioned.. the 275 will fit on an 8" wheel.. It really depends on the brand used... Nittos tend to run alitle more narrow, therefor they dont seem to buldge as much as another brand might, like say.. Kumho or somthing cheap..
My buddy runs 275x40x17 Nitto DR's on his stock 17x8" Bullet wheels and the buldge isnt bad at all, he says they hook like a mofo!
