Had to drive to downtown LA in it yesterday morning... that was pure hell.

The Stang has been great in the rain for me, alot easier to control than my old S10 was.

My best friend couldn't leave his neighborhood yesterday. He's got a CRX thats very low and has a CAI with the filter in the bumper. His car is teh useless.

funny u say that, i knew a guy who had a civic out the otherday when it was raining, he said "i just went over a puddle and then my car bogged out, now it wont start, it wont even turn over" :owned:

on another note, i had to drive down to fullerton college, then i realized the admissions office was closed :nonono: thats no bueno :notnice:

The drainage channel outside our hotel in Indian Wells turned into a small river on Tuesday and Wednesday and I'd never seen so much snow on the mountians around Palm Springs this morning. Made for a really beautiful sunrise. There were lots of road closures out there though. Fortunately I didn't have to deal with any of it.

good stories guys, thanks for the laughs.

I drive around all day from account to account, being a tech and all. I pretty much saw everything you could think of, from overturned trucks to lakes on the freeways. The 110 was pretty bad @ the 105, I drive a 03 Accord coupe for work, and I haul ass through puddles, ver have any problems...YET....Anyways, coming from Oregon, this is not new to me, although it was fun trying to get to my car the other morning when the water was up past the curb.

I just got back from a week in Tahoe.
I never thought I'd say this but, there was almost TOO MUCH POWDER.
Pretty epic though.
I just bought a BMW wagon for my wife and I was wishing I had gone with the all wheel drive Audi.
Actually the little car delt with it real well, we were totaly plowing through snow in the thing.
We had to drive for about 5 hours in a blizard to get down the mountain. Some guy's blew by us in a 4X Blazer and we came around a corner to find them upside down in the middle of the road. They all crawled out of the thing and were OK so I called the CHP for them and said "see ya".
It's good to be home, and some rain will seem like nothing now.

i was going to work on fri morning and the neighborhood behind it had floods at all the intersections i tipped toed through one because i couldnt make a u turn (i should of done a quick drop clutch 180) 5 min later my car was sputtering and died, and would not start for the rest of the day....

Installed silverstars all around and for the first time I can see when I drive in the rain and on wet roads. The beam is much stronger.

But one time in the rain i hit a big enough puddle to partialy submerse my block. Sounded like water on a hot pan. No good.
