Driving down the interstate the other day the mustang Ate its clutch, i still have pedal feel but it doesnt release. I have adjusted it every way possible but its dead. And since the turbo flywheel and clutch is different, This thing is out till the swap. Im not gonna replace a clutch just to replace it again in the spring. So... atleast for now.. the mustang rides no more, At least until it is reborn again in turbocharged form with a new motor and clutch.

I was gonna say the same thing. It works perfectly, I have the turbo flywheel/clutch in my car right now and have for a year - I"ll just drop it onto the new motor when it goes in.

Throw the turbo flywheel and clutch in it...
i thought about that, but its 20* out and thats alot of work to do just to remove it again in the spring. Literally as soon as it gets warm enough the swap starts. I think i may pull the tranny out the next time it is somewhat warm and see what kind of mess is in there. If it all goes smoothly i may do just that, but i dont want to waste too much effort just to do it all again in a few months.

i got a question...i dont have a manual...but i am getting one...how big of a hassle is in changing the clutch...and how can you tell if its going out? if it doesnt want to engage well?
